Native bees are our hobby and our source of enjoyment. There are many reasons why people keep native bees which may include; as low maintenance pets, a focus for relaxation and mental health, just plain fun and a conversation piece, therapy, helping the environment, increase local pollination, harvesting Honey-Pollen-Propolis-Bees Wax, orchard/farm pollination...
Whatever your interest, we all start our journey somewhere, and frequently it is with a colony of bees.
